Guylain holds a Masters EE and has 25 years sales, business development and operating experience in public and private high technology companies, including Ericsson, NorTel, PCS Wireless, Broadband Networks, Global Locate. He’s held senior executive roles in private and public companies, including President of TML Ventures and several years as Vice President with Intrinsyc Software (TSX:ICS). An avid sailor and Past Commodore of an international offshore sailing association, Guylain has been involved in the mobile GPS space since the early days of mobile data.
Charles represents Series A investor Discovery Capital where he has been since March 2001. In this role, he identifies and structures investments for BC Discovery Fund, and works with the management of portfolio companies to assist in creating value, typically as a member of the board of directors. He is also CFO of the Fund, and responsible for its financial management and capital raising activities. Charles brings nine years of investment banking experience in advising private and public companies to Discovery Capital, and assists its portfolio companies in structuring financings and in completing acquisition and divestiture transactions. Prior to joining Discovery Capital, Charles was a director of Dundee Securities Corporation, providing investment banking services in Alberta and British Columbia, prior to which he worked in a similar role in the Vancouver office of a national investment dealer. As well as being a CMA, he holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia.
Chris represents Series A investor Telus Corporation. Chris is the Vice-President of Consumer Products and Services for TELUS Customer Solutions responsible for product development and management of consumer services spanning wireless and home solutions. Products under management range from voice communication and messaging services to video entertainment and network planning. Chris has over 18 years experience in the telecommunications industry in a number of capacities including product management, service development, business development and marketing intelligence. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, holds an MA in Economics from the University of British Columbia

Previously, he worked at Toyota’s U.S. HQ , MTV/Music Television, Disney/ABC's Flagship New York Radio Station. Greg has lived in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sweden, Canada and holds a BA- University of Colorado-Boulder and MBA-Pepperdine University. Greg is a native New Yorker who attended Bronx H.S. of Science.
Rich Geruson is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Technologies. Before joining Phoenix, Mr. Geruson was the Chief Executive Officer of VoiceSignal Technologies. During his tenure at VoiceSignal, Mr. Geruson built the company into the world leader in voice recognition software for mobile phones, increasing shareholder value over tenfold and culminating in the sale of the company for twelve times its revenue. Prior to VoiceSignal, Mr. Geruson was Senior Vice President at Nokia Americas’ mobile phone business where he helped grow the business almost tenfold, tripling its market share and giving Nokia the number one share position in the United States and, for the first time in its history, the number one share position in the world. Previous to Nokia, Mr. Geruson was Vice President and General Manager of IBM’s Networking Distribution Business in North America and also served as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Networking Hardware. As one of the youngest Vice Presidents in the company's history, Mr. Geruson accelerated growth and helped transform IBM’s distribution model by launching indirect sales channels for the networking business worldwide. Prior to IBM, Mr. Geruson was Vice President at Toshiba Americas’ mobile computing business. At Toshiba, Mr. Geruson helped generate rapid growth, doubled market share, and propelled Toshiba from fifth place to the number one share position. Mr. Geruson has also held executive positions at other firms including McKinsey & Company, where he developed and helped execute strategy for several Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Geruson has earned three graduate degrees from the University of Oxford, including a Ph.D. in Economics. He was also a member of the research faculty at Harvard Business School, where he completed the book, A Theory of Market Strategy, published by Oxford University Press.
